Become R2 Certified

R2 is the leading standard for the electronics recycling industry setting a high bar for practices that protect the environment, human health, safety and the security of the recycling process.  The standard was developed through a rigorous, multi-stakeholder, transparent and open process over 2+ years.  It is expected the marketplace will begin to require recyclers to become certified to a recycling standard to encourage good practices.

• Contact a certification body.  See the list of currently accredited certification bodies.

You should expect that certification to R2 will be rigorous and will help you operate your business sustainably and responsibly.
